Released Players
Official IPL 2027 released players: Awaiting announcement. No names should be added to this section from prediction articles, fan lists or projected squad changes.
For comparison, the official PBKS announcement before IPL 2026 said the franchise released Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Aaron Hardie, Kuldeep Sen and Pravin Dubey. Those were IPL 2026 decisions and do not establish any 2027 release.
Trade Updates
Completed PBKS trades for IPL 2027: None verified in the checked official sources. A media-reported discussion has linked Nehal Wadhera with a possible Gujarat Titans move, with Gurnoor Brar mentioned in some versions of the proposed exchange. It remains reported but unconfirmed. It should not be described as a completed trade, and Shashank Singh should not be listed as traded without a formal announcement.
No confirmed captaincy change was verified in the sources checked for this update. Any 2027 leadership claim should wait for a team or league announcement.
