The Hundred is the ECB’s 100-ball franchise competition. Its first completed season was in 2021, after the planned 2020 launch was postponed. Eight franchises have competed in both the men’s and women’s competitions from the start.
The latest completed edition is 2026. Manchester Super Giants won the men’s final, while Trent Rockets won the women’s final. “Present” in the title does not add an unplayed or unverified season to the tables below.
Team changes and franchise lineage
The Hundred still had eight teams in 2026. Three founding identities changed names after new investment: Oval Invincibles became MI London, Northern Superchargers became SunRisers Leeds, and Manchester Originals became Manchester Super Giants. These are continuing franchises, not replacement clubs, so historical results remain attached to the name used when each final was played.
Southern Brave kept its name but changed its main colour scheme. Birmingham Phoenix, London Spirit, Trent Rockets and Welsh Fire remained in the eight-team field. No founding franchise was discontinued by 2026.
