Pro Kabaddi League Season 13 is reportedly set to miss 2026. A report says the league could return in June or July 2027 because a new broadcast deal is still not in place.
What The Report Says
Outlook India reported the update on November 1. Yardbarker carried the same report. Both reports said PKL 13 is expected in the June–July 2027 window.
The report said the earlier five-year rights deal ended after Season 12. That season finished in October 2025. Talks for a fresh deal have not produced an agreement, according to the report.
This is a reported league-business update. It is not an official schedule announcement. The reports cite Khel Now and an unnamed source close to the matter. No official PKL 13 dates were announced in the sources checked.
Why The 2026 Season Is In Doubt
A normal 2026 season now looks difficult based on the report. The league would need a rights deal and a full event plan before confirming matches.
The report also said franchise owners sought guidance from the Sports Ministry. It did not report a final business plan or a confirmed new partner.
The official Pro Kabaddi website still lists Star Sports as its broadcast partner. It also lists JioHotstar as its digital streaming partner. The site does not show a PKL 13 fixture list or a new Season 13 rights announcement.
Fans can track the separate auction question in our PKL 13 auction update. That article also records that an official auction date was not confirmed in its latest check.
What Fans Still Need To Wait For
There is no confirmed PKL 13 opening date. There is no confirmed auction date. There is also no confirmed broadcaster for the next season.
The June–July 2027 window should therefore be treated as an expected period. It could change if the league reaches a rights agreement sooner or chooses a different plan.
No new player injury or squad announcement was linked to this report. The key issue is the league’s broadcast and business position.
The latest completed PKL season ended with Dabang Delhi K.C. beating Puneri Paltan in the Season 12 final. Fans can follow our Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship coverage while waiting for a formal PKL 13 update.
The next clear step is an official statement on the season dates and broadcast partner.
