Punjab Kings are reportedly close to signing Hardik Pandya from Mumbai Indians for IPL 2027. The Hindu reported on November 3 that Arshdeep Singh and wicketkeeper-batter Vishnu Vinod could move to Mumbai Indians in the proposed exchange.
The report says talks between both teams have reached an advanced stage. However, the trade was not official at the latest check on November 4. IPL documentation was still pending.
What The Reports Say
The Hindu said senior leaders at both franchises had almost agreed to the plan. It added that IPL officials were expected to process the documents later in the week.
Rediff also reported the same player movement. It said an official announcement could come before the retention deadline. That report also described the deal as a reported trade.
This means Hardik has not been confirmed as a Punjab Kings player. Arshdeep and Vishnu have not been confirmed as Mumbai Indians players either.

Why This Trade Matters
Hardik is an all-rounder. He can bat and bowl pace. His arrival would give Punjab Kings another player who can fill two roles.
Arshdeep is a left-arm fast bowler. He has been a key Punjab Kings player in recent IPL seasons. Vishnu adds a wicketkeeping and batting option to the reported package.
The reported swap would therefore change both squads. Punjab Kings would add an experienced all-rounder. Mumbai Indians would add a frontline Indian fast bowler and a wicketkeeper-batter.
Our earlier Hardik Pandya trade report covered earlier interest in the Mumbai Indians all-rounder. The latest story names a possible swap for the first time.
What Happens Next
The next step is official paperwork. The IPL or both teams must announce the trade before it can be treated as complete.
The Hindu said an announcement was expected later this week. That is a reported timeline. It is not proof that the deal has been signed.
The retention deadline is also close. Teams will need clear squad lists before that date. Fans should wait for an official notice before changing their IPL 2027 team lists.
