WPL championship years only, not the men’s IPL record.
Team history
Mumbai Indians entered the Women's Premier League as one of its five original franchises in 2023. Their women's side won the inaugural title that March, defeating Delhi Capitals in the first final. This gave the team an immediate championship identity rather than a slow-building entry into the competition. Source
The 2025 final brought a second WPL trophy. Mumbai defended 149 against Delhi Capitals and won by eight runs; the league recorded them as its first two-time champion. Those are the two title years in this profile, not the men's IPL trophy record. Source
Mumbai announced a 16-player post-auction reference group for WPL 2026, before further in-season changes. The 2026 championship went to Royal Challengers Bengaluru, so Mumbai's WPL title count remained two at the end of that season. Source
