Team history
Delhi Capitals reached the first Women's Premier League final in 2023, but Mumbai Indians took the inaugural title. Delhi reached the title match again in 2024, when Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their first WPL championship. Source
Another final followed in 2025, and Mumbai won that contest by eight runs. Delhi then beat Gujarat Giants in the 2026 Eliminator to reach a fourth consecutive final, showing consistent playoff performance without a WPL title through that season. Source
In the 2026 title match, Delhi posted 203 for four, but Bengaluru chased the target and won by six wickets. The franchise's record here is therefore four finals and no WPL championship till 2026. The 2026 player reference below comes from its dated season-opening squad announcement, not from a later 2027 roster. Source
