The PKL 13 auction date has not been officially announced as of 14 October 2026. The PKL Season 13 starting date is also awaiting confirmation. An earlier auction window of 18–25 October appeared in media coverage, while newer discussions point towards November. Neither should be treated as a final schedule.
For fans waiting for Pro Kabaddi 2026, the key dates are the player auction and the opening match. They are separate events: the auction helps teams build their squads, while the season start brings those teams back onto the mat.
Latest update: 14 October 2026.
PKL 13 Auction Date 2026: Current Status
There is no confirmed day, venue or start time for the PKL auction 2026 yet. The same applies to the final player list and the complete auction programme.
| Detail | Current position |
|---|---|
| Season | Pro Kabaddi League Season 13 |
| Official auction date | Not announced |
| Earlier auction window | 18–25 October 2026 — unconfirmed media expectation |
| Newer auction discussion | November 2026 — unofficial, not a fixed date |
| Official season starting date | Not announced |
| Possible season window | Late December 2026 or January 2027 — unconfirmed |
| Auction venue and time | Awaiting confirmation |
A date range is not the same as an announcement. Until the league confirms its plans, fans should avoid treating any particular day as the auction date.
Will the PKL Season 13 Auction Happen in October or November?
The 18–25 October window came from earlier media expectations. More recent auction updates discuss a move towards November, but they do not include an official league notice confirming the change.
That means November is a possibility, not a booking in the calendar. There is also no confirmed two-day programme or evening start time for Season 13. Those details need to come with the auction announcement.
The safest answer to “when is the PKL 2026 auction?” remains: the official date is still pending. The older October window should not be presented as confirmed simply because it appears in search results or video headlines.
PKL Season 13 Starting Date: When Could Pro Kabaddi 2026 Begin?
The opening date for PKL Season 13 has not been confirmed either. Late December 2026 has been discussed as a possible window, with some newer updates also suggesting January 2027.
Dates such as 25, 26 and 27 December appeared in earlier discussions, but none is an announced opening day. There is no official Season 13 fixture list to confirm the first match, its teams or its venue.
The auction and the league opener should therefore be followed separately. An auction announcement would settle the player-buying dates; fans would still need the season schedule to know when the matches begin.
What Happens at a PKL Player Auction?
The auction gives franchises a chance to add players to their squads. Teams look for raiders who can score points, defenders who can stop raids, and all-rounders who can contribute in both areas.
In simple terms, a retained player stays with a team under the league’s rules. A released player is not kept in that retained group. An auction signing is a player bought through the bidding process. Retention announcements help fans understand which positions a team may need to strengthen.
However, a Season 12 squad is not automatically a Season 13 squad. Fans should wait for the relevant team announcements before assuming a player has been retained, released or entered into the new auction.
The same caution applies to team purses, base prices and Final Bid Match rules. Previous-season rules can explain how an auction works, but they should not be labelled as confirmed PKL 13 rules without a fresh announcement.
Which Teams Should Fans Follow for PKL 13 Updates?
The league’s current 12-franchise line-up is the starting point for following team news. This is not a confirmed list of Season 13 squads or captains.
- Bengal Warriorz
- Bengaluru Bulls
- Dabang Delhi K.C.
- Gujarat Giants
- Haryana Steelers
- Jaipur Pink Panthers
- Patna Pirates
- Puneri Paltan
- Tamil Thalaivas
- Telugu Titans
- U Mumba
- UP Yoddhas
Dabang Delhi K.C. won Season 12, beating Puneri Paltan 31–28 in the final on 31 October 2025. That makes Delhi the reigning champion from the latest completed season.
Do Not Confuse the 2025 Auction With PKL Auction 2026
The Season 12 player auction took place on 31 May and 1 June 2025 in Mumbai. Those are previous-season dates, not the PKL Season 13 auction date.
When checking an auction page or video, look for the season number as well as the year. A genuine announcement for Season 12 does not confirm anything about the timing, venue or broadcast arrangements for Season 13.
