Where it began
Early life and cricket background

The platform years
Domestic breakthrough with Punjab
The 2023 Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup was the performance that put Naman Dhir on the wider radar. He scored 466 runs in 12 innings at a strike rate of 192.56, including hundreds of 127 from 56 balls and 105 from 44. Those innings showed the clean hitting that later became his IPL calling card.
He also produced two Ranji Trophy hundreds in the 2022–23 season.
A new chapter
Naman Dhir’s international career
Naman Dhir was named in India’s T20I squad on 1 October 2026 as Washington Sundar’s replacement for the West Indies series. The selection was official; it did not by itself confirm a match appearance.

At 14 October 2026, he remained a developing white-ball all-rounder rather than an established international regular.

His clearest early IPL highlight came in the final match of the 2024 campaign, when he hit an unbeaten 62 from 28 balls against Lucknow Super Giants. Mumbai’s official profile records 252 runs in 12 innings at a strike rate of 182.60 in 2025, followed by 318 runs in 14 innings in IPL 2026. He remained with Mumbai Indians as of the cutoff.
